Chinese Medicine major characteristics

①Inclusion of acupuncture and tui na related courses;

②Emphasis on professional characteristics, inclusion of unique courses such as "Chinese Medicine Dermatology" and "Syndrome Differentiation Thinking Training of Chinese Medicine Dermatology" after taking into account the clinical needs in different countries.

③Strengthen the diagnosis and treatment training of traditional Chinese medicine. Dialectical syndrome thinking training courses for the different TCM classics are offered at the same time as when the respective classics and the clinical courses are taught, so as to carry through the concept of "early clinical, more clinical and repeated clinical exposure", and to train students' TCM diagnosis ability and clinical skills.

Acupuncture and Moxibustion major characteristics

Fully highlights the characteristics of acupuncture, moxibustion and tui na, offering practical courses such as "Unique therapy" while increasing clinical training hours at the same time.

Students personalized learning

Administration of academics matters is based on the actual situation of international students. Since the beginning of the Chinese teaching program for undergraduate international students in 2011, international students take independent classes from local Chinese students in the first year. The teaching hours for core courses were increased by 30% on top of the teaching hours based on the original teaching curriculum, and some restricted courses were adjusted to become core courses. From the beginning of the second year, students who obtain an average of 80 points or more in the core courses may apply to attend classes with the local students. There are clear training objectives with corresponding course curriculum and teaching materials for international students, which are in strict accordance with China's academic and teaching programs. Teaching curriculums are also adjusted accordingly to the needs of international students and some results have been seen with the implementation of trial teaching reforms.
