Library

The Beijing university of Chinese medicine library was established in 1956, both in the east and west districts. The building area is 15811 square meters. The main collection consists of literature of traditional Chinese medicine with Western medicine literature as complementary. There are more than 880,000 copies of thread-bound books and an annual increase of 48,000 volumes of printed literature. Over 3900 kinds of thread-bound books for a total of more than 8000 letters, and 39,000 books. 120,000 volumes of library journals, more than 97,000 copies of traditional Chinese and western medicine journals, more than 29000 copies of foreign periodicals, and more than 1000 kinds of the current issues. Nearly 410,000 collections of electronic books, including more than 40,000 copies of traditional Chinese electronic books.

Canteen

There are two canteens in BUCM providing Chinese food, Korean food and Muslim food.

Sports & Leisure

The sports facilities include stadiums (track and field, football field, and a gym), outdoor basketball courts, volleyball courts, tennis courts, gate ball court, and a fully equipped gym in the west campus. On the first floor of the stadium, there is Wushu stadium, and basketball, volleyball courts on the second floor. At the East campus, there are basketball courts, volleyball courts, tennis courts, badminton courts and a fitness area. The total area of the sports stadium at east and west campus is 32082 ㎡, every person covers an area of 3.8 ㎡.
